Lovely Ireland:

Check this video out of the Emerald Isle. #IrelandInspires is a collaboration between the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland and Fáilte Ireland to celebrate Ireland’s most famous day. It got us thinking about how great Ireland is (obviously) but it also got us in the mood for a little bit of travelling to see what other fantastic places we could see in the world.

The Trip of a Lifetime

We’ve all gone travelling and taken endless amounts of pictures. So what if you went travelling, still took those pictures, but made a one minute video of everywhere you visited? That’s exactly what these guys below did; the trip of a lifetime!

Packing light:

Going budget friendly and with a budget ‘friendly’ airline? (not naming any particular one but Ryanair comes to mind)

There is nothing one than when your holiday funk is ruined before it even began by the lovely hostess telling you your cabin sized bag is actually too big for a cabin sized bag and you must check it in. No longer will you have to wear 17 outfits under your coat onto the plane to avoid these costs, this very clever man shows us how to pack like a pro…check it out:

Little Corn Island

Little Corn Island

This might be a little off the beaten track for some, but this tiny island is as peaceful as it gets. The island is easy to get around by foot and the resort on the island offers a luxurious and relaxing stay right on the edge of a beautiful clear blue sea…why not?

2.Peru

Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu

Instead of booking the usual two weeks holiday to The Canary Islands, why not take a trip to Peru? Take the Inca trial to Maccu Picchu, surf the Pico Alto wave that reaches up to ten mitres in height or absorb yourself in the vibrant night-life of Lime-there is something in Peru for everybody.

3. Cape Town, South Africa

Cape Town, SA

Cape Town, SA

Cape Town is one of the most beautiful places to visit. Table Mountain is a must see, and the beaches are spectacular. Cape Town has been voted as ‘Travel and Leisure’s’ no.1 destination to visit this year. Why not explore the many boutiques and cafes, and take a trip to the notorious Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was famously incarcerated.

4.Iceland

Iceland

Iceland

There has never been a better time to visit Iceland. In December 2014, the Northern Lights will reach their peaks, so why not watch them from one of the many luxurious resorts in Iceland. Thingvellir allows you to fish on Iceland’s largest natural lake, or you could take in the sights of the island’s capital Reykjavic. Visit the country’s ice caves, or unwind in the geothermal heated pools.

5:Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo, Japan

Visit the world’s most populous metropolis and absorb yourself in Japanese culture. Head to the many shopping districts or eat in some of the finest restaurants, Tokyo is a city that needs to be seen. You can also immerse yourself in the ancient history of Japan by visiting the many museums, the Site of Nikko Toshogu, the small city of historic treasures-but to name a few places. Tokyo also has a number of stunning imperial gardens and green spaces which can’t be missed.
